The Dragino WQS-NB is a main unit which allows connecting 1 to 3 water quality probes, including EC, pH, DO, ORP and TS probes. It detects water quality parameters and uploads the value via wireless to a IoT Server via NB-IoT network.
You can use various IoT Servers and different uplink methods including MQTT, MQTTs, UDP, TCP and CoAP.Â
The sensor node uses Quectel BC660K-GL Multi-band LTE Cat NB2 module which can be used in most European countries. It has a card slot for an NB-IoT SIM card. Ask your mobile operator about availability of SIM cards, coverage, frequencies used and login procedures. See for example Deutsche Telekom IoT and 1NCE.
This device supports BLE for easy configuration and wireless OTA to update the firmware.
WQS-NB is powered by 8500mAh Li-SOCI2 battery for several years of use. It has an external antenna and an IP66 enclosure.
