RS485-NB - RS485-Modbus/UART to NB-IoT Converter

The Dragino RS485-NB is a RS485 / UART to NB-IoT Converter for Internet of Things solutions. User can connect RS485 or UART sensor to RS485-NB converter, and configure RS485-NB to periodically read sensor data and upload via NB-IoT network to IoT server.

RS485-NB can interface to RS485-Modbus sensors, 3.3v/5v UART sensor or interrupt sensor. RS485-NB provides a 3.3v output and a 5v output to power external sensors. Both output voltages are controllable to minimize the total system power consumption.

You can use various IoT Servers and different uplink methods including MQTT, MQTTs, UDP and TCP. 

The sensor node uses Quectel BC660K-GL Multi-band LTE Cat NB2 module which can be used in most European countries. It has a card slot for an NB-IoT SIM card. Ask your mobile operator about availability of SIM cards, coverage, frequencies used and login procedures before you buy this product. This device supports BLE for easy configuration and wireless OTA to update the firmware.

RS485-NB is powered by 8500mAh Li-SOCI2 battery for many years of use. It has an external antenna and an IP66 enclosure with a waterproof M12 cable hole for an external sensor.
