Product description
The SCD30 from Sensirion is a high quality Nondispersive Infrared (NDIR) based COâ‚‚ sensor capable of measuring 0 - 40'000 ppm an accuracy of ± (30 ppm + 3% MV) at 25 °C, 400 - 10'000 ppm. Along with the NDIR measurement technology for CO2 detection, a best-in-class Sensirion humidity and temperature sensor is also integrated on the same sensor module.
Carbon dioxide (COâ‚‚) is a key indicator of indoor air quality. Houses have be-come increasingly energy efficient, but the air quality can deteriorate rapidly. Active ventilation is needed to maintain a comfortable and healthy indoor environment. Sensirion’s SCD30 offers accurate and stable COâ‚‚, temperature and humidity monitoring.
Sparkfun has written an Arduino library to make reading the COâ‚‚, humidity, and temperature very easy.
Note: This product requires soldering. After soldering, you cannot return the product. You can test the Qwiic version (see below) without soldering.
