Remote I/O Controller - 1 Port

CIE-H12A is a device for remote monitoring and switching over long distances via an Ethernet or Internet connection.

The compact control device with its two independent inputs offers a cost-effective way of monitoring two switching states via the network. The two inputs are designed differently: one input can be used with a simple switch/button ("dry contact" - input is related to the device ground). A second input, however, is separated from the device potential via an optocoupler ("wet contact"). A voltage must be supplied here to switch the input.

The existing switching output is equipped with a relay contact (5A 28V). The remote monitoring of the inputs and the control of the outputs can be done via a simple web interface. Even more versatile is the control via Modbus/TCP, the TCP variant of the open, industrial communication protocol Modbus.

The CIE-H12 can be configured using the ezManager software/apps.

You can use two CIE-H12 to perform an Internet switch without the need for a PC. The settings are in the Internet Switch Technical Document. It is also possible to combine the CIE-H12 with the CIE-H10, which has 8 inputs and outputs. See Combination of I/O Controller Technical Document.

The CIE-H12 supports Modbus/TCP, HTTP and simple macros. The CIE-H12 can be operated with the ModMap app for Android and iOS.

ModMap for Windows is available to manage multiple I/O controllers and monitor the inputs and outputs.
